Driving Digital Transformation in Energy
ndbholdinggroup helps energy clients transform into digital utilities by leveraging advanced analytics, automation, mobile technologies, cloud solutions, design thinking, and agile methodologies.
ndbholdinggroup supports initiatives ranging from quick, small-scale efforts—such as digital diagnostics or functional prototypes—to large-scale transformations that reinvent operations or create entirely new digital businesses from the ground up.
What We Do
Driving Digital Innovation in the Utility Sector
ndbholdinggroup combines decades of experience serving the utility sector with extensive expertise supporting leading companies across industries in rethinking what is possible through digitization.
We are one of the world’s leading digital providers, with over 1,000 data analysts working across industries, supported by Digital Labs teams including hundreds of product owners, architects, designers, and programmers who partner with clients to deliver transformative solutions.
Leveraging global client experience, we develop advanced tools such as Utilityx, an analytics platform that optimizes asset management and predictive maintenance. Utilityx helps clients improve uptime performance while reducing costs by optimizing monitoring, inspection frequency, maintenance, and replacement decisions.
Our digital expertise spans the full spectrum, from value-creation estimates, analytical modeling, and insight generation to rapid prototype development, “test and learn” customer pilots, and final product delivery. We work closely with each client to source digital talent, build in-house capabilities, and create a digital enterprise ready for the energy future.
Examples of our work

Over the past five years, ndbholdinggroup has delivered more than 200 capital-productivity projects worldwide across the electric power and natural gas sectors. These initiatives have helped organizations strengthen performance, optimize investments, and accelerate sustainable growth. Examples include:
Building a Digital Hub
At a major electric and gas utility, ndbholdinggroup helped establish a digital hub to enhance field capabilities, starting with asset inspection. A prototype solution was developed in four months, and the first application went into production within just 30 days. The program is projected to save 15–20 percent of the utility’s asset inspection budget.
Developing a Health Index
At another utility, ndbholdinggroup assisted in creating a health index for individual assets, a criticality index to assess the impact of asset failures, and integrated expert-system models to guide optimal maintenance and replacement decisions. These initiatives are expected to reduce operating expenses by 20–30 percent and capital expenditures by 10–15 percent annually.
